One of my newer designs is a shawl pattern called Morning Pages
This is a generously sized shawl which uses 3 skeins of glorious Cumbria Yarn (a worsted weight) from The Fibre Co.
The sample knit as shown uses 2 skeins MC in grey (Scafell Pike) and 1 skein CC in a mustard yellow (Buttermere). Technically it is listed as a semi circle shape but because of the way the increases are constructed it ends up being a three-quarters square. Ideal for sitting nicely over your shoulders.
Using garter stitch and contrast bands of stocking stitch this shawl works up quickly to give you a warm, woolly hug. Perfect for wrapping around your shoulders as you sit with your morning coffee and get ready to face the world.
You can buy the pattern through my Ravelry page and you will also be able to see it on display at Yarndale on the Emily Foulds stand.
